Program Overview

Becoming a physical education teacher requires a knowledge in a wide-variety of topics to meet the physical, emotional, and mental needs of K-12 students. Develop the skills and awareness to modifty activities for students with specific disabilities in a recreational setting. Gain a better understanding of the human body with exercise physiology, motor development, anatomy, and physiology. Plus, you will learn the ins and outs of health education within personal, family, and community health.
